The agreement
By creating an account you agree these terms with Webmatia Ltd, company number 14892310. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account, including anything done by users on seats you have granted. You must be 16 or older. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Who owns what
You own the content you upload. You own the outputs you generate, subject to the underlying model provider's terms, which we pass through unchanged and do not add to. We claim no licence over your content beyond what is technically required to operate the service for you — storing it, transmitting it to the model that processes it, and displaying it back to you.
Acceptable use
You may not use VoiceTapp to:
- Infringe copyright, including republishing someone else's work as your own after rewriting it.
- Process material you have no right to process, such as recordings made without required consent.
- Generate content depicting real people without their consent, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Produce deceptive material intended to defraud, impersonate, or manipulate an election.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, resell access without a reseller agreement, or probe the service other than under our disclosure policy.
We may suspend an account for a clear breach. Where circumstances allow we warn first, and we will always tell you why.
Outputs are drafts
AI outputs can be wrong, including confidently wrong. Transcription contains errors, generated text can state false facts, and file answers can miss context. You are responsible for reviewing anything you publish or act on. Do not use the service for medical, legal or financial decisions without qualified human review.
Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Plan tokens reset monthly and do not roll over; purchased packs do not expire. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable and shown before checkout. We give 30 days' notice by email before any price increase.
Refunds
If you have used less than 10% of a plan's monthly token allowance, email support within 14 days of the charge for a full refund. Beyond that we assess case by case. This sits on top of, and does not reduce, any statutory right you have as a consumer.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on standard plans. Scale customers can request an SLA. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where it will be disruptive.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data where you had the ability to export it.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate for material breach, or with 30 days' notice if we discontinue the service, in which case we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period. Your export rights survive termination for 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of protections available in your country of residence.
